Apple unveiled new versions of the iPad Pro, among its main features include the inclusion of the M2 chip that was presented last June and is also used in the new versions of the MacBook Air and MacBook Pro.
The launch was made in models of 11 and 12.9 inches, in which Apple promised «the best combination of potability, versatility and incredible performance».
In terms of design there were not many changes compared to the iPad Pro with M1, so the flat edges and the overall design in space gray and silver colors were maintained. However, inside, derived from the placement of the M2 processor, there will be an increase in processing speed of up to 20%, while the performance of the GPU rises up to 35%.
According to the brand, the iPad Pro in its new version is almost twice as fast compared to a 10-core computer chip.
As for screens, the 12.9-inch version has a Mini Led panel, while the 11-inch version stays with Liquid Retina XDR panel; both models with a refresh rate of 120 Hz.
Support for the second-generation Apple Pencil was also increased, so it’s now capable of detecting it even when placed 12mm above the screen.
The new iPad Pro with M2 arrives with iPadOS 16 announced last June and delayed in its departure, among the novelties include the fact of offering an experience similar to a laptop, but in a smaller and lighter format.
iPad 10.9″
Also introduced was the 10.9-inch input iPad, USB-C connector and A14 chip (which was released in the iPhone 12) and with a redesign without so many frames.
