The monetization option in Youtube Shorts will be available from 2023 according to information from YouTube itself, for this it will be required that creators accumulate at least 10 million public views in the last 90 days and a thousand subscribers.
Like other social networks, Shorts will be presented in vertical format, with this format currently accumulate on the platform more than 30 billion daily views with a total of one thousand 500 million users consuming this type of content.
