Samsung Electronics announced the new Samsung Gaming Hub platform, which will be enabled on all Samsung Smart TVs 2022, where you can play various video game titles from various platforms without the need for any additional device and without downloads.

The platform was announced a few months ago at the CES fair, where features of the system were presented, in which video games from Xbox, Nvidia GeForce Now and also Google Stadia will converge, so that owners of a screen of the brand will be able to access entertainment without having to buy a console.

This function will be available both on Smart Monitors, as well as on TVs with NEO QLED 8K, NEO QLED 4K models and QLED screens.

«Thanks to agreements with our partners, Samsung Gaming Hub owns the content of leading gaming streaming services and allows access to recommendations from experts and players; that will be able to browse and discover a wide and permanently updated catalog of video games, regardless of the platform».

Won-Jin Lee, president of Samsung’s services business team, said.

This service will operate through the Tizen operating system, native to Samsung, so users can connect headphones and controls with their screens via Bluetooth to have a gaming experience.

In Gaming Hub you can also have an integration with music and streaming services, such as Twitch, YouTube and Spotify, in addition to having a specialized section for tutorials and podcasts.

Samsung says that through its TVs and monitors this year a faster decoding is carried out, with an optimized buffer control technology that reduces the delay by up to 30 percent compared to previous models; in addition, they promise high refresh rates and latency reduction.
