The streaming platform Netflix presented a new plan that will be located as the cheapest of the company from November 1, 2022, the day on which it will be officially launched to the market and although it has caused a stir, as expected, due to its low cost it will also come with some limitations.
With the arrival of the new package, Netflix will have four offers in total, the basic with ads, the basic, the standard and the premium. In the case of the most recent package, the main differences are that it will present ads of 4 to 5 minutes for each hour of content that is seen, which will have variations according to the country in which the platform is viewed, but the firm promised that «they will seek to be relevant to users.»
In addition, the streaming resolution will be limited only to HD 720p and some movies and series will not be available due to licensing issues, a topic they are «working on».
Another limitation is that it can only be viewed on one device at a time and the contents cannot be downloaded. Of course, it can be seen on any device that is compatible with Netflix, so from SmarTVs, computers, video game consoles and mobile devices will not have any limitation for the content.
It should be noted that this is not a worldwide launch, from the outset, it will only be available in twelve countries of the world: Mexico, Germany, Brazil, Canada, Korea, Spain, the United States, France, Italy, Japan and the United Kingdom.
Its price will be $ 6.99 per month.
In addition, there will be an adjustment for people who have the basic package without ads, in addition to all the benefits they already had, now the resolution will rise from 480p to 720p, which will allow you to observe content in a greater definition.
